KolnSKY in Cologne

There were two of us at KölnSKY and we had a 4-course dinner. The location, which is otherwise also bookable for events etc., was converted into a kind of pop-up restaurant during "Covid-19". This is also noticeable in the ambience and the furnishings: rather minimalist and cool. The wow effect is created by the location / the view of the Cologne skyline. The food is very fine, beautifully presented and the service attentive, but all in all culinary not necessarily in such a way that you would remember it forever. So solid 3 stars, because the restaurant experience wasn't as great as the view;)

It was a wonderful evening with a view of our Kölle that takes your breath away and, as if ordered, a wonderful sunset. The service, the kitchen and especially the food with the selected wine accompaniment were excellent. Thanks again to the courteous service. We'd love to come back ?

Great location, great view, excellent food and very good service

In Corona times, the decision was made to also offer gastronomic highlights outside of the concept as a pure event location. These are offered on the homepage for around a year. An excellent idea that is perfectly implemented with a breathtaking view over Cologne! For example, we chose a four- or five-course menu with accompanying wine and were delighted: from the first to the last plate, consistently top class! The wonderful wines selected appropriately, the service friendly, humorous and very courteous. Thanks to the kitchen & the whole team! Absolute recommendation !!

Due to the current Corona situation, we only visited KölnSky as a restaurant and not as an event location: We recently went to KölnSky with 6 people. When making reservations, we had expressed the wish to have a table with a view of the cathedral. This wish was also implemented - we had a table with a wonderful view! We opted for the 4 course menu for 62 euros. We were very impressed by both the normal and the vegetarian menu. The food was really good! The drinks were also reasonably priced. On average, we spent around 80 euros per person. Overall, we can recommend the restaurant!

Unique location with a magnificent view of Cologne. Fine dining. Very attentive staff. Enjoyed beautiful sunset with excellent food; I can recommend that to everyone. The corona hygiene regulations were also observed. Conclusion: gladly again.

A great prospect, you can't even imagine that. The food from the star chef was outstanding. Very good portions, so that after 4 courses you were full but not too full. The service was also very good and very attentive. Price management was brilliant too. All in all, I would come again in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to others.

Yesterday we went to the Kölnsky for the "ocean rush". The view and the ambience are fantastic and deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately, there are 2 stars for everything else: The service is moderate. The white wine was served warm, the ordered water was forgotten. When we complained about the wine, we got the answer "that's just the way it is, with the third or fourth bottle ..." (??) We kept the offered Plateau de friut de mer DELUXE (?) for our starter booked in advance by email, but it was forgotten and served after the main course! No trace of DELUXE. Instead of a "plateau", the seafood was served very clearly in a paella pan (!!!). The quality of the oysters and the lobster was very good, but the lobster claws were missing, which had broken off :( The waiter had absolutely no clue about oysters and when we asked, explained something that was wrong. A big disappointment for us oyster lovers. The desserts ordered in advance by email did not exist, they were completely ignored. The registration process was (perhaps due to Corona) cumbersome. Only when the booking for the Plateau de friut de mer was registered did you get a link to the starters and desserts, which were not served in the form ordered. However, the dessert was very good. Conclusion: price (€ 280 for 2 people!) Is in no relation to performance. VERY BAD At least the price was a little bit better because of our criticism.

Gigantic panorama. Unfortunately not the food. Very disappointing!!

Under the current Corona measures, we found it problematic to use the telephone receiver on the ground floor, which 20 people before us had already used that evening. On the first try, we also landed on a mailbox. We were received by a child and shown to our table. We found this circumstance and that the child was out and about in the restaurant until half past ten, clearing our table, for a restaurant. We found the explicit recommendation of the 5-course menu and the frequent inquiries about which wine we would like to drink, although we had said that we would contact us if we had any further requests, as intrusive and an “absolute willingness to sell”. The dishes were tasty and filling. The view from our table was great.

Super great location. Top organization and top service staff. We had a perfect wedding celebration and a magnificent view. I can only recommend it!

The view is absolut amazing!!you have the view to all the köln town!!it is cost 3 euro for one person!!but you have to see a nice view to the town,river and the big cathedral!

Beautiful view! Worth the steps going up

We did our annual event in this location and we were thrilled. Great rooms, very nice care in advance, very delicious food and the view is probably unique in Cologne. Highly recommended for events.

An elevator to the see a nice view of the city- they have a glass barrier separating you from a sure death downward as well as information directly on the glass so you know what you’re looking at. They offer group rates if you are a group of 5 or more
